I grew to hate this album with all of my heart in 2005. Feel Good Inc was inescapable in the worst kind of way. I had written the project off entirely as mass produced pop crap, that is until this past Sunday. I was at the excellent 300 bowling alley on Bunker Hill. They play mostly excellent music(Rapper’s Delight was on when we got there), complete with music videos over the lanes. All of a sudden something caught my ear, the spectacular voice of Rosie Wilson, guest vocalist on DARE performing the voice of Noodles. Then comes Danger Mouse’s beat, as hooky as ever. DARE haunted me until I was able to go home and buy the album. The album most certainly has more hits (DARE, Feel Good Inc, Kids with Guns) than misses. The biggest issue I take with the album is the sense of attempted epic-ness of the whole thing, when it works it works damn well and when it fails I go running to the skip button. If you haven’t listened to the album in a while, or have only heard Feel Good Inc I highly recommend it.

I never said that the Xbox is perfect, it’s far from perfect. It has serious issues (got dang RRoD, paying for live) but posts like this are just idiotic.
